Alex Lange came off the field Saturday with two outs in the eighth inning and a 3-0 deficit that could have been a whole lot worse.
But then that's part of how Lange helps make LSU so tough to beat -- he doesn't give in when things go bad.
"It's what it's all about -- it's limiting the damage," Lange said after LSU's 4-3 comeback win against Mississippi State in the opener of a best-of-three Super Regional series.
"You give up one, you don't give up two. It's been our philosophy since I've been on campus.
