The slumping LSU baseball team returns to action tonight for the start of a three-game home series against No. 6 Vanderbilt. After dropping each of its first three series and losing six of its past seven games, including four in a row, coach Jay Johnson knows something’s gotta give. He said as much in yesterday’s press conference, and the actions he’s taken recently suggest that he’s doing everything he can to turn things around. Johnson met with his staff until the wee hours of the night following Monday’s loss to Southern.
