What LSU players said after the spring football game

LSU wrapped up spring practice with its annual spring game Saturday in tiger Stadium before an estimated crowd of 15,000. The White team, made up mostly of starters, defeated the Purple, 45-6.

Tiger quarterbacks Anthony Jennings resumed their battle for the starting job and played well, combining for 420 yards and four touchdowns. The wide receivers also shone with Travin Dural and Malachi Dupre catching a pair of touchdown passes each. Tight end DeSean Smith also caught a 50-yard scoring pass from freshman quarterback Justin McMillan.

The defense was led by end Maquedius Bain with two sacks while fellow end Tashawn Bower and tackle Davon Godchaux had one each.
