6 Best LSU Football Players For 2015

The LSU Tigers have their fair share of impact talents to work with on their road to College Football Playoff glory in 2015, and these next guys are the biggest assets of all. Here's our list of the 6 Best LSU Football Players For 2015:

6) WR Malachi Dupre, Jr.

The 6-3, 187-pounder out of New Orleans  has all the talent in the world ans was one of the nation’s top recruits two years ago, but has only showed flashes of his tremendous combination of size, skills, and athleticism. He only caught 14 passes on the year, but turned it into 318 yards and five scores. If a quarterback can consistently get him the ball, Dupre could become the most dangerous weapon in the nation.

5) S Jamal Adams, So.

The 6-0, 206-pounder made a big impact from the nickel position as a freshman because of his relentless pursuit of the football, whether through the air or on the groung. Expect him to have a HUGE impact this year while he steps into a starting role.

4) OT Vadal Alexander, Sr.

Alexander is easily LSU's best blocker and is agile enough to take over for La'el Collins at right tackle. He will translate to a guard at the next level with his bulk and strength, and has rare size and the versatility NFL teams love.

3) WR Travin Dural, Jr.

We've already touched on LSU's passing struggles, but Dural did his part with a team-high 37 catches for 758 yards and seven scores, averaging 20.5 yards per grab. The 6-2, 192-pounder has elite speed, strength, and ball skills, causing scouts to compare him to former Tigers standout Odell Beckham, Jr. Look for LSU to get the ball to him in a variety of ways if their passing game continues to struggle.

2) LB Kendell Backwith, Jr.

Beckwith is the team's leading returning tackler with the speed and athleticism to be used as a pass rusher. The 6-2, 245-pounder has a great burst that allows him to get into the backfield and stuff running backs before they hit the line of scrimmage, and should give LSU the dominant defensive presence we've come to expect from Les Miles coached teams.

1) RB Leonard Fournette, So.

Fournette got Heisman hype before he even stepped on campus in Baton Rouge this fall, and while he didn’t quite reach that level as a freshman, he was still one of the best backs in the SEC. He’ll be more heavily featured next year, and will become the focal point of LSU’s power running offense. With a year of experience under his belt, Fournette could take the country by storm this fall.
