The Loyola women’s soccer team (6-7-3, 2-5-1) hosted Duquesne University Oct. 16 in its annual Senior/Alumnae Day, when the Ramblers celebrate the careers of seniors, graduates, and alumnae. The match came to a 0-0 draw, with Loyola unable to capitalize on its nine shots on goal compared to the Dukes’ mere two.

The Ramblers started the game strong, establishing its dominance early by passing the ball quickly and efficiently, forcing Duquesne into their half of the field.

Just five minutes into the game, senior forward Megan Nemec stole possession of the ball outside of Duquesne’s box.
