The Loyola women’s soccer team’s (8-8-3, 4-5-1) first season in the Atlantic 10 (A-10) came to a close Oct. 29 after they fell 3-0 to No. 10 Saint Louis University (SLU) in the quarterfinals of the A-10 Championship. Undefeated in conference play, SLU earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament. Placing eighth in the regular season, the Ramblers clinched the No. 8 seed as the last team to qualify.
Coming into the 2022 season, both teams had won four-straight conference titles — Loyola in the Missouri Valley Conference and SLU in the A-10.
