The Lions are right where they want to be entering conference play, as they look to make the NCAA Tournament for a third straight year.
During the month of September, the Lions have been competing around the country, including tournaments in Denver, Colorado and Dayton, Ohio. The team has accumulated a 7-2 record during September, which is impressive considering only two of those games were played at home.
Head Coach Tom Black sees being able to play well on the road as an essential part of the game, which is why the team’s 3-0 record this weekend impressed him.
