Kaylin Morissettee led the no. 14 ranked lacrosse team to a 14-3 victory over Denver. With the win the Cardinals stay undefeated at 3-0 on the season.
Morissettee and Hannah Koloski both had hat tricks with Jilian Balog and Julia Wood scoring two each. Goalie Brittany Read had eight saves bringing her total to 24 on the year.
After the match head coach Kellie Young enjoyed the way her team performed after a slow start.
“We got a little too nonchalant early in the game with a team that’s super feisty,” she said.
