Louisville's 2022 recruiting class got its first commitment today with Khalib Johnson making his announcement. Johnson is a 3-star Quarterback from Alabama. When Pete Thomas was named Quarterbacks Coach, Johnson was his first offer just four days after officially being announced. Thomas obviously thinks highly of Johnson and he got his guy.
Johnson is a solidly built prospect at 6-2/205 and he shows good power when he runs the ball as opposed to being an elusive open-field runner. I like the fact that he is more of a traditional pocket passer who can run and that shows in his game.
