Rick Pitino and the Louisville basketball program announced some big time news on Thursday morning. Damion Lee, the best available transfer in college hoops has signed with Louisville and will join the roster for next season.
Lee is the second transfer to sign with the Cardinals, joining Cleveland State transfer Trey Lewis who announced earlier this month that he’ll finish his college career in Louisville.
It sounds like Lewis played a huge role in Lee’s decision to transfer to Louisville. “We didn’t even ask, Trey just got right on the phone with (Lee),” Pitino said during his press conference.
