Louisville’s 2015-16 men’s basketball team got a lot better this morning, as the Cardinals received a commitment from coveted graduate transfer guard Damion Lee.
Lee, who played at Drexel for three seasons – averaging more than 20 points a game last season – has graduated and will be eligible to play immediately next season.
Shortly following the news of the commitment, Louisville coach Rick Pitino held a press conference. The 62-year-old coach seems to be pretty excited about his team’s potential.
Pitino on the grad transfers adjusting quickly: “I have a reputation as a one-and-done producer, so it won’t bother them at all.
