BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The ULM track and field trio of Rebekka Schubert, Grant Girtman and Darryl Givens competed at the Samford University Multi Meet on Thursday and Friday, January 21-22. Schubert notched the best finish of the three Warhawks, placing fourth in the women's pentathlon, while Givens and Girtman finished ninth and 13th, respectively, in the men's heptathlon.
Schubert, competing in the sixth pentathlon in her ULM career, emerged with her best overall finish, topping her previous best mark (fifth), which came at the 2020 Sun Belt Indoor Championships. Her meet began with a fifth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles, which she completed in a time of 9.
