STARKVILLE, Miss. – Ending the regular season on a high-note with a pair of first-place finishers, the ULM track & field program posted personal-records and season-bests across the board at the Jace LaCoste meet on the campus of Mississippi State University on Saturday at the Mike Sanders Track Complex.
Junior Alton Clay Jr. registered a huge outing for the Warhawks which included both a gold and silver medal. He won the discus after tallying a personal-record score of 54.42m which smashed his previous best of 51.16m. Clay earned runner-up honors in the hammer throw by firing a 58.
