With a good combination of returners and the top ranked Sun Belt Conference recruiting class, the 2017 ULM Football team stepped on the field for year number 2 under Matt Viator's leadership. On a hot summer afternoon, the Warhawks moved with speed and purpose during each drill, finishing practice in just under two hours.
Speaking with the News Star after practice, Viator praised his team and their effort on day 1. "Our No. 1 objective was to get back out, get moving and get into what we'd like to have in terms of practice tempo and getting things done.
