LAFAYETTE – Trailing by as many as 15 points in the second quarter and eight points in the fourth, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team extended their win streak to four games with a 56-53 win over visiting Troy at the Cajundome on Saturday.
The Cajuns (14-3, 7-1 SBC) trailed 29-17 at halftime, but came out and held Troy to 24 points the rest of the way to win their seventh conference contest in eight tries this season.
Junior guard Jaylyn Gordon tallied a team-high 23 points, 12 of them coming in the fourth quarter.
