XENIA, Ohio – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball player Marcus Stroman was one of 24 players selected to participate in the annual Captains Academy for NCAA Division I men's basketball captains, through Athletes in Action Basketball's annual Captains Academy.
The 24 players selected come from 20 universities across the country, including India. The five-day Academy opened on Thursday and is scheduled through Monday (May 21).
Stroman, a native of Columbia, S.C., finished second in the Sun Belt Conference in assists per game (6.5) while leading the league in assist/turnover ratio (2.2). The 6-foot-2 point guard averaged 6.
