LAFAYETTE – After a great weekend in Georgia, Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball sophomore point guard Jasmine Thomas was named the College Sports Madness Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week for the weekend of Feb. 8-10.
Thomas, who's the first Cajuns player to get the award since Jaylyn Gordon got the award on Jan. 18, 2016, was the grease to the Cajuns wheels, averaging 15.0 points per game, 7.0 assists per game and 6.5 rebounds per game in both of their wins in Georgia over the weekend.
