LAFAYETTE – A total of 41 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns student-athletes were awarded their college degree on Friday as the University held its spring commencement ceremonies at the Cajundome.
The 41 graduates represented 14 of the Ragin' Cajuns 16 Division I programs with women's soccer player Lindsey Brammer (Speech Pathology) and women's track and field athlete Claire Hodges (Petroleum Engineering) each graduating summa cum laude.
Eight student-athletes – Jessica Bartczyszyn (volleyball), Josh Cecil (men's track), Greg Davis (baseball), Carly Jo Ellender (soccer), Haley Hayden (softball), Natalie Lebamoff (soccer), Yazmin Montoya (soccer), and Kassidy Zeringue (softball) – graduating magna cum laude.
