EARTH CITY, Mo. -- The St. Louis Business Journal reported Tuesday that Alan Bornstein, a business partner of St. Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke had reached a contract to own about 200 acres of land in Maryland Heights, not far from the team's current training facility in Earth City.
The news immediately set off a round of wild speculation about how that land could be developed with some fans hoping that maybe it meant Kroenke was going to be in on developing the land to build a new football stadium that would keep the Rams in St.
