Rams' secondary still has a lot to prove

IRVINE, Calif. -- A lot has been made about the Los Angeles Rams' inability to pass the ball, a warranted condemnation given that nine years have passed since the organization produced a 1,000-yard receiver.

But an even bigger problem now could be defending the pass.

At least that's what the first two preseason games have indicated. The opposing starting quarterbacks -- Dak Prescott, at best the Dallas Cowboys' backup, and then Alex Smith of the Kansas City Chiefs -- have gone a combined 19-of-24 for 276 yards and three touchdowns without throwing an interception.
