Adam Schefter of ESPN, citing league sources, reports that Rams DT Aaron Donald’s holdout is “threatening to last into the regular season.”
One source tells Schefter that he could envision Donald sitting out the 2017 season.
However, Schefter says that a lot can change in regards to negotiations in a very short period of time, but this goes to show that there’s still a lot of work to be done between the two parties. Schefter writes that the Rams and Donald currently are “not particularly close to a deal” but plan to stay in touch.
