For those of you devastated by Dwight Howard’s decision to spurn the Los Angeles Lakers for redder pastures and the Houston Rockets, now is your time to rejoice.
Though rumors have been circling the league that the Rockets were looking for suitors for 11 year veteran, Dwight Howard, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical clarified the situation.
Earlier in the season reports surfaced that Howard and Rockets’ star, James Harden, didn’t really get along and that could be playing a large part in what is currently happening with the organization.

Howard, 30, plans to exercise an opt-out in his contract this summer to become an unrestricted free agent, and uncertainty surrounding the commitment both sides are willing to make has pushed Houston general manager Daryl Morey toward seeking potential trades on the market, league sources said.
