The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t put up much a fight in their 119-98 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday night, their first game back at home since the All-Star break and the sweeping changes in the front office regime. Head coach Luke Walton was far from pleased with what looked like a lack of heart from the start of their 12:30 PM matinee.
For Walton, rookie Brandon Ingram was one of the few bright spots, finishing was a new career-high 22 points and 10 made field goals, one of which was a dunk in the face of former Laker, Pau Gasol.
