Byron Scott‘s life has been intertwined with the Los Angeles Lakers franchise. Although he journeyed around the league, his roots have always brought him back home.

A local product, grown up in Inglewood and student at Morningside High School, it was most fitting that Byron Scott, out of Arizona State, ended up playing for the Los Angeles Lakers at The Forum.
Though often overshadowed by the brightness of his peers, Scott has been an important figure in the history of the Lakers.
