Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar got off to a successful start on ABC’s hit show ‘Dancing with the Stars’ (DWTS).
Paired with last season’s champion Lindsay Arnold, it might have been a little uncomfortable for some Lakers fans to watch, but Abdul-Jabbar had a good time with it as he danced to Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” a tune which spent six weeks at number one on the R&B charts in 1970.
Although the 5’4” Arnold did most of the heavy lifting, the 7’2” Abdul-Jabbar was a game partner as he was dressed in a gold sequined outfit, cradled a gold basketball, and wore a broad smile.
