Season Summary
It was an underwhelming debut season for Timofey Mozgov, who averaged 7.4 points and 4.9 rebounds in 20.4 minutes before sitting the final five weeks in order to give more minutes to the team’s younger players. Mozgov admitted to hearing “a lot” of fan criticism and said that it was tough for him to not play at the end of the year. When he was on the floor, he shot 51.5 percent from the field and was the team’s last line of defense.
