Lakers rumors are primarily focused on possible players the Lakers could sign or trade for, including Davis Bertans, Jamal Crawford and Andre Iguodala. While it makes sense for the Lakers to try for Iggy, he won’t come cheap and the Lakers don’t have much trade capitol. Perhaps Davis Bertans from the Washington Wizards makes more sense. He’s off to the best start of his young career and Washington won’t likely make it to the playoffs.

Jamal Crawford is another name that makes some sense. Crawford is a three-time sixth man of the year and an “instant scorer” according to Anthony Davis. However, Crawford is 39 years old while is likely why he is still on the market.
Speaking of roster additions, let’s talk about LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony. Melo has joined the Portland Trailblazers, but there was chatter about him possibly joining the Lakers. The rumor was that LeBron James wasn’t on board with Melo joining the Lakers but that wasn’t the case. The front office went a different direction but LeBron said it “would’ve been great” to have Melo on the team.
