Last week, a rumor surfaced that Okafor did not want to play in Minnesota because he had his heart set on being a Laker. However, there doesn't seem to be any truth to that rumor, according to TMZ.
But we spoke with a rep for the 19-year-old who says, “He has never expressed anything about not wanting to play for the Timberwolves and is willing to go wherever he is drafted.”
There is still a good chance that Okafor will end up in Los Angeles as Towns is projected to go No. 1 to Minnesota, leaving him for the Lakers.
