LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have announced the following player transactions.

Assigned to Ontario (AHL):
Michael Mersch – LW

Mersch, 23 years old, was drafted by the Kings 110th overall in the fourth round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Mersch spent his first full professional season with the AHL's Manchester Monarchs in 2014-'15, winning a Calder Cup champioship. In 76 regular season games, Mersch recorded 45 points by way of 22 goals and 23 assists. In 18 playoff games, Mersch registered 22 points (13G, 9A).
