Kings and Center Tyler Toffoli Agree To Terms On Two-Year Contract



LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with restricted free agent center Tyler Toffoli, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

The 23-year-old Toffoli (born on April 24, 1992) is a 6-1, 197-pound native of Scarborough, Ontario, who appeared in a career-high 76 games last season with the Kings. He posted career-highs in all major categories, including goals (23), assists (26), points (49), plus/minus (plus-25), power-play goals (three), shorthanded goals (five) and shorthanded points (six). Among team leaders he ranked third in points and goals, fifth in assists, first in plus/minus (tied for 11th in the league), first in shorthanded points and goals (led the league in both categories), and tied for sixth in power-play goals.
