Jonathan Quick A Finalist For Vezina Trophy

On Wednesday, Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick was named one of the three finalists for the NHL’s 2015-’16 Vezina Trophy, which is awarded annually “to the goalkeeper adjudged to be the best at his position.”

Tampa Bay’s Ben Bishop and Washington’s Braden Holtby were also announced as candidates for the honor.

Quick played in 68 games during the regular season, all of them starts, amassing a 40-23-5 record with a .918 SV% and a 2.22 GAA. Quick’s 4,034 minutes played was the most of any goaltender in the NHL this year.
