Free Agency Continues, Kings Sign D-Man Zach Trotman

The 25-year-old Trotman (born August 26, 1990) is a 6-3, 217-pound native of Carmel, Indiana, who appeared in 38 regular season games with Boston last season (2-5=7, +3, 22 PIM).

Originally a seventh-round selection (210th overall) by Boston at the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, Trotman has played three seasons in the NHL – all with the Bruins. In 67 career regular season games he has 12 points (3-9=12), and 22 penalty minutes. He made his Bruins/NHL debut at Ottawa on December 28, 2013, and he scored his first NHL goal at Detroit on April 2, 2015.

Trotman made his pro debut with the Providence Bruins (AHL) during the 2011-12 season.
