Did you consider yourself a long-suffering Los Angeles sports fan before the Kings won the Stanley Cup in 2012? If so, you’re either not that old, or you don’t like all the teams in LA. (Talking to you, Laker haters.) Despite the Kings’ 45-year run of futility, the city of LA and, indeed, the “LA metro area,” has done well in the four major sports leagues, winning 21 titles. Yes, we’re including Anaheim in the tally, but only because we gotta meet the number requirement.
