CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy II and Academy product Jonathan Estrada captured the LA Galaxy Goal of the Month presented by 76 Gas award for July with his finish against Rio Grande Valley FC.
The 16-year-old scored the game-winning tally (and made this Insider feel VERY old) in Los Dos’ 1-0 victory over Rio Grande Valley in early June. Estrada’s goal finished above Special Olympics Unified athlete Jose Gomez’s goal which came in second.
Estrada joins Giovani dos Santos, Academy star Efrain Alvarez, and Dave Romney as winners of the competition.
