CARSON, Calif. – Giovani dos Santos is all smiles after earning his 100th cap for Mexico earlier this week.
The LA Galaxy forward notched his 100th appearance on Tuesday, helping Mexico earn a 1-1 draw with Costa Rica in San Jose. The honor helped dos Santos become just the 12th Mexican player to reach the century mark.
“It was a special game for me. To play my 100th game with the national team was a dream come true,” dos Santos told LA Galaxy Insider. “It’s easy to say that I’ve played 100 games, but that took a lot of dedication, hard work, and discipline.
