LANCASTER >> Yasiel Puig was back.
Nearly a month after having his initial minor-league rehabilitation stopped short, Puig strode to the plate for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes single-A affiliate in the top of the first inning Thursday.
Puig being Puig, he did not disappoint, launching a drive off the center-field wall for a standup double to the delight of the numerous Dodger fans who packed The Hangar for a glimpse of the Cuban star.

All in all, it appeared to be a success for Puig, who went 2 for 4 with a double and a run.
