Here's another excellent pickup for my collection of tobacco cards from the legendary Monster. It was also a part of my small submission to SGC and it looks oh so stellar framed up nicely in black. I have always gravitated to oddball sets and oddball errors/anomalies in sets. Today's card certainly fits the bill as Bob Bescher (Hands In Air) has no name on the bottom and a full name on top.

Bescher was born in Ohio, about three hours from where my mom was born. He led the NL in stolen bases four times; punched cows on a cattle ranch; attended the University of Notre Dame for high school; worked as an oil inspector for the state of Ohio post-baseball; and was nicknamed "The London Flash.
