Not a newsflash to our more loyal readers, but I ain't from around these fair parts. I grew up in a faraway land of zero sales tax and a short commute to the epicenter of sports fandom depravity: Philadelphia.
Sometimes a select few of the Dodgers Stadium faithful remind me of home... usually when they're being carted away by security or calling the opposing pitcher a word I'd rather not write.
And then there's times when I realize how many miles lay between me and the Veterans Stadium of my youth.
