PHOENIX -- On the first day of full-squad workouts, a few Dodgers had to be scratched, most notably right fielder Yasiel Puig.
Puig, hoping to bounce back from an injury-plagued 2015, was still feeling the effects of having two wisdom teeth removed Tuesday and his jaw was still swollen. He might return to baseball activity Friday.
Also still sidelined are young pitchers Brooks Brown (shoulder) and Caleb Dirks (back).
But pitcher Josh Ravin resumed workouts after missing nearly a week with a combination of the flu and strep throat which, he said, caused him to lose 17 pounds.
