The Los Angeles Dodgers were strongly represented at the annual Southern California Sports Broadcasters luncheon, with Hall of Famer Jaime Jarrín and Joe Davis among those to win an award.
Jarrín was honored with the 2020 SCSB Award for Spanish Radio Play-by-Play. The Dodgers’ radio team earned plenty of hardware in general, with reporter/host David Vassegh also winning the 2020 Irv Kaze Radio/Host Reporter Award.
Charley Steiner additionally was recognized, winning the 2020 Chick Hearn Award for Radio Play-by Play and the 2020 SCSB Call of the Year. Rick Monday, who calls games alongside him for AM 570 L.
