LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers are starting Zach Lee on Saturday night against the Mets, but first had to make room on the roster for him. The club optioned Ian Thomas to Triple-A Oklahoma City, one night after the left-hander allowed one run in five innings in his spot start in a win over New York.
Thomas on Friday made his first major league start and his 24th major league appearance. Lee on Saturday will make his major league debut.
