The Los Angeles Dodgers’ injury woes got worse on Tuesday afternoon when Walker Buehler was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right rib microfracture.
The injury took place during Buehler’s May 21 start against the Colorado Rockies when he was struck in the ribs by a line-drive comebacker off the bat of Trevor Story. Buehler did not leave that start and actually made three more after it.
Although, the rib issues caused him to leave his last outing against the Atlanta Braves after just 5.1 innings. At the time it was said to be because of rib soreness.
