Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen has looked like a new man in his last few appearances. His velocity is up and he’s given up just 2 hits all season. Most importantly, he’s converted four straight save opportunities (technically).
It all started after Jansen’s disastrous blown save against the Oakland Athletics. Media and fans, justifiably so, renewed their concern over his role as Dodgers closer. Since then, he almost looks like his 2017 self.
