Dee Gordon, Don Mattingly and Dodgers weigh in on Marlins' player's 80-game suspension

Former Dodger and current Miami Marlins second baseman Dee Gordon was suspended for 80 games late Thursday night after testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs.

Gordon tested positive for exogenous testosterone and clostebol, a modified form of testosterone. He won the batting title and had his best season in 2015, his first season with the Marlins. Of couse now many are questioning whether that dramatic improvement is the result of PEDs. And some are wondering whether it is mere coincidence that this is Barry Bonds' first year as the Marlins' batting coach.

Gordon released a statement Friday about his suspension:

“Though I did not do so knowingly, I have been informed that test results showed I ingested something that contained prohibited substances.
