LOS ANGELES — A pair of Dodgers made the 2016 Sporting News National League All-Star team, with shortstop Corey Seager and closer Kenley Jansen getting so honored on Wednesday.
The group of NL All-Stars was chosen by a group of 27 NL executives at the end of the regular season.
Seager, who was named the Sporting News NL Rookie of the Year on Monday, hit .308/.365/.512 with 26 home runs and 40 doubles, leading the Dodgers in hits (193), runs scored (105), doubles, total bases (321), batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage and OPS.
