PHOENIX -- The Dodgers sent outfielder Andre Ethier for a bone scan of his right leg, trying to find out a reason why he hasn't improved three days after fouling a ball off his right shin. Results of the bone scan weren't available as of Monday night.
Manager Dave Roberts didn't sound optimistic after Monday's game.
"He's not feeling well and not responding," Roberts said. "Just the way he was moving around so gingerly and not being able to bear weight."
Ethier fouled a ball directly off his right shin bone in Friday's game against the Diamondbacks at Salt River Fields, and left the game after four innings.
