LAKE ELSINORE -- The Lake Elsinore Storm (Padres) scored five runs in the first inning off John Richy and the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes were unable to overcome that deficit in a 5-1 road loss on Saturday night.
Richey started his season with two excellent games but his last two starts, both against the Storm, have not been very good. Ritchy's first-inning adventure saw him give up four hits, two walks, a hit by pitch and a stolen base along with those five runs.
Ritchy only lasted three innings which equaled his start last Sunday, and allowed five hits and four walks along with those five runs.
