SAN DIEGO -- The rotational roulette wheel has landed on Scott Baker, who on Sunday becomes the Dodgers' third different fifth starter in as many opportunities.
Baker will need to be added to the 40-man roster with a corresponding move and it could be reliever Joel Peralta landing on the disabled list. Peralta said he has a dead arm that doesn't hurt, but has robbed him of velocity.
Baker was signed on April 3 after being released by the Yankees at the end of Spring Training. He is 66-52 with a 4.25 ERA in nine MLB seasons.
