LOS ANGELES – Carl Crawford strolled into the locker room and then onto the field. He shook hands with teammates, chatted with others, then stepped inside the batting cage at Dodger Stadium.
It was good to be back, even if it was for just a few hours.
Crawford, who has been on the disabled list since April 27 because of a torn oblique muscle, made a brief appearance Friday at Dodger Stadium, taking in the all-too-familiar sights and smells.
