Chad Billingsley shuts down former Dodgers teammates as Phillies win 7-2

It was Chad Billingsley Night at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday.

No, the Dodgers were not honoring their former right-handed pitcher. They were trying to knock him out of the box.

Billingsley, who missed most of 2013 because of Tommy John surgery and all of 2014 with flexor tendon surgery, was back in town with the lowly Philadelphia Phillies, the team with the worst record in baseball.

Billingsley entered with a record of 0-2 and an ERA of 7.71 in four starts. But he allowed the Dodgers just six hits and two runs over six innings and the Phillies emerged with a 7-2 victory over the Dodgers before 46,614 at Dodger Stadium.
